Construction of a 30 kW hybrid photovoltaic system for social care homes – Municipality of Kazanlak

As part of its large-scale energy efficiency and sustainable development program, the Municipality of Kazanlak commissioned the construction of photovoltaic systems on the rooftops of local social care homes. The challenge for our team was to design and install a highly efficient 30 kW hybrid power plant on a specific bitumen roof, while guaranteeing absolute weather protection and preserving the building's structural integrity for decades to come.

Inter Power’s Engineering Solution To meet the stringent requirements for quality and reliability, the Inter Power team approached the project with the company's signature engineering perfectionism. Every step, from dimensioning to final installation, was executed with uncompromising attention to detail:

• Maximum Structural Resilience: We utilized a specialized aluminum mounting structure, precisely dimensioned to withstand extreme wind loads and heavy snow. We ensured highly secure fastening, bearing in mind that the operational lifespan of the panels is between 25 and 30 years.
• Absolute Waterproofing: For the installation on the bitumen roof, we used fasteners with integrated rubber seals, additionally treated with specialized adhesive. This approach completely eliminates the risk of roof compromise and subsequent leaks.
• Attention to Aesthetics: We believe that industrial solutions should also be visually flawless. We used panels with a black frame and black backsheet, completed with all-black mid and end clamps. The profiles were precisely processed and trimmed to ensure a clean, elegant finish to the installation.
