150 kW Photovoltaic System - Municipal Public Transport, Gabrovo

We built the photovoltaic power plant for the Gabrovo Energy Community on the roof of the MPT (Municipal Passenger Transport) building, located at 20 Industrialna St. in Gabrovo. The system has an installed capacity of 150 kWp and includes 256 high-efficiency Jinko Tiger Neo N-Type 72HL4-V solar modules (570–590 Wp), backed by a 30-year linear warranty. Three Deye SUN-series three-phase hybrid inverters were installed, with readiness for future battery system integration. All project requirements were met, including AC/DC protections and 24/7 monitoring.

The panel orientation was specifically designed to ensure maximum annual production. East, west, and south tilts were utilized, allowing for power generation from early morning until late evening, with the southern orientation contributing to higher yields during winter months.

Lightning protection and grounding were built on concrete blocks so that the roof would not be penetrated, ensuring it remains fully protected from damage. The mounting structure was selected with ballasted supports, requiring no drilling of the roof surface during the installation of the panels and supporting elements.

The implemented system provides locally produced clean energy, optimizes site costs, and increases its energy independence, all while being prepared for future battery upgrades.
